A Season to Reflect

“..Whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely…if there is any praise, think about these things.”  (Philippians 4)
As we near the end of 2023, it is soul healing to reflect on all that has been and all the many changes we have experienced throughout the year.  As I write this newsletter today, it is on this day, back in 1975 that I first met my late husband Dave.As I reflect on our relationship, I am so grateful for the many years we had together.  And I do believe because of that gratitude for all those years,  and the love we shared, I can move forward in gratitude for the next chapter in my life,.  For love never ends, and love is what calls us out from our particular circumstances, and lifts our vision upward so we can see all the lovely and good things that are yet to be.

I am so grateful for each of you at Unity.  It is my blessing and pleasure to serve our spiritual community.  The friendships, the fellowship, the working, and singing and praising together lifts us into an awareness of Presence which always waits for our return Home.

We have many beautiful Services planned, Christmas Eve morning at 10 and Christmas Eve Candle Lighting Service at 7 pm,  a Unity favorite.  Let us gather in the manger of our hearts, listen to some lovely music and bask in the Christ light of love that is in each of us.  Let us rededicate ourselves to letting the Son of God in us, the Christ in us shine brighter than ever.  Let us model to the world, the healthiest and most honorable way to live in the world is to reflect on all that is good, all that is pure, all that is just.  Let us see the Christ Light in one another.

Merry Christmas
Happy Holidays
We are Love incarnate.
