Affirmative Living

“Affirmative Living”

“By your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.” (Matthew 12:37)

When I was interning as a Chaplain at Saint Joseph’s Hospital in Kansas City, I was called to the emergency room where a young man had been brought in from a horrible car accident.  His wife and children were waiting anxiously to see if he was even alive.  As they rushed him past us into an operating suite, We joined hands in a prayer, where I affirmed that “James’ Spirit was strong.  We give thanks that he is returned to his family, healthy and whole.”

Afterwards, one of the EMT’s who brought him in came over to me and said “You don’t know that he will recover?”  I said to him “You don’t know that he won’t, I am choosing he will.”

“Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable to you, O Lord”  (Psalm 19:14)

Our words are the outward expressions of our inner thoughts.  Speaking them actually changes the way we feel.  The Jafollas’ write in “The Quest, that Soothing words, hopeful words, release soothing hormones in the body.  This is true for both the speaker and listener .

The words we speak are a reflection of our consciousness. Tonight at 6:30 we are starting our Affirmative Prayer Class.  This class is for you if you want to learn how to shift your attention from challenges, link your mind with Divine Mind and allow Divine Mind to speak trough you, calling forth the Truth that Spirit is Present and you are grateful for Guidance, Healing, Peace, Prosperity Health.

Your words are the building blocks of your life, Speak the words that build the life you want to experience into Reality.

Blessings,                                                                                                                                             Rev Janice
