Affirmative Prayer is a Lifestyle

These days I’ve come to think that it is not very wise to ask a young person  “what do you want to do when you grow up?”  I know its cute and we think its great to get them thinking of what they want, what are their passions and goals and dreams and aspirations.  Well what about their joy, their love, their compassion and their genuine sense of wonder?

To focus only on what one can accomplish, produce, manufacture, what content we can create, strips away the love of the writing; the love of the tinkering, the love of playing.  Because the thing is that is all we are ever doing is playing.

Sometimes we think our work is so important, and it is, yet not in the way we think; not in its outcome, but in the process of focus is found our spiritual qualities, our health, our sense of wholeness, our happiness.

To live from an Affirmative mindset is to “Be still, be still be still”  inwardly while we are in the midst of creation.  Stillness chases away the debris of worry and concern and makes us present to hear, understand and follow our divine guidance.

Affirmative prayer is to put ourselves in the place of co-creation to See and hold the best version of yourself. A  Vision that aligns you with the Will of God which is always to live from an awareness of this Aliveness.

We live and move and have our being in God. (Acts 17:28)

When we are still within, we enter into this awareness – Presence opens us to the intelligence within our cells  –
As Myrtle Fillmore writes: “God in the midst of you is substance. God in the midst of you is love.  God in the midst of you is wisdom”  (Healing Letters)

So, what do you want do in your life?
I want to be still and know that “I Am”  I then step out in faith knowing the rest will unfold naturally.
Blessings
