When I worked in Silent Unity, we would meet before our shift and go into prayer. This would help us to release the worldly debris and concerns of our day so our minds would be open and receptive to the needs and desires of the callers.
People would call from all over the world. You could tell what time it was by the location of the callers. When you call Silent Unity you are greeted with a calming, soothing voice affirming the Truth of you and of the situation. Affirmative prayer is a great way to start your day. To be still a moment and enter into the Stillness, our attitude shifts and becomes much more open to what is and less attached to how you think it should be.
The words used in affirmative prayer are not as important and the intention to affirm what is already there, even if we cannot see it.
In the midst of all conflict, there is peace. In the midst of any illness there is health. Oneness, health, abundance, these qualities are the Truth and we, as the children of God, are recipients of these qualities when we connect with Source and give thanks for them in advance.
We live in a world of possibilities, where all things are possible. Prayer is not soliciting a God outside of us but accepting Christ in us and listening for guidance from this still small voice.
To affirm the Absolute Good of the Universe is to move from ego to soul, connecting with our highest self our Christ-Self where we live a life in glory to God.
Prayer is a miracle maker because it opens our eyes to the miracles of life surrounding us now.
