To have a debt free consciousness, for me is not necessarily about finances, although it includes them. To live debt free is to live from an understanding and awareness that we are responsible for our attitude and how we show up in the world, no matter what the outer circumstances are doing.
We live in a society that quickly looks for someone else to blame, shame or complain about, thinking their action or lack of is what causes me to be happy or concerned. In Reality, to forgive is to keep brushing away from us the debris of the world so that we can feel God’s Presence and listen for inner guidance.
Our lovely church building was built in 1961, we have five beautiful acres of land to care for. We are in the midst of having to replace one or both of our air conditioners in our sanctuary. One of the AC units in the sanctuary is 30 years old, so we are having quotes given to us.
Like every business, a church is a spiritual business, we must bring in a certain amount to meet our financial obligations. It is important to bless everything we have and to forgive ourselves for being concerned about thinking of lack. We live in an abundant universe and our God is equal to every demand.
I ask you, if you are able to consider donating something towards our ability to purchase these units. We are estimating it will be $8 – 10K, ,so we can keep our sanctuary comfortable. In the meantime let us together bless everything we have and are, and the unlimited possibilities that await Unity of Fort Pierce’s next chapter.
