From Independence to Inner-Dependence

We have been looking at the story of Lazarus and noticing the hidden clues within it that lead us to living a healthy, wise and abundant lifestyle. This series is based on the book Beyond Lazarus by Richard and Mary-Alice Jafolla.

We prepare to celebrate the 4th of July this weekend, with parades and cookouts and remembering the sacrifices many made to allow the United States to live as “One nation under God”  in freedom.

Let us remember ourselves in this statement and place ourselves under the compassion and authority of the Source of our Life, God.
When we place ourselves in the midst of Being, we discover there is no past nor future, there is only the sacred present, this Holy Instant and here we realize Inner-Dependence is the most loving, supportive and authentic awareness we could live from.

Aware of that which Sources us, we live in freedom for we realize the love that binds all life is inviting us to open and let the celebratory fireworks of freedom express from us in the forms of compassion, creativity, caring, comforting and co-creating a state of Wholeness in which all are welcome.

We are born of the free woman, born through the promise (Galatians 4:23). This allegory tells us we are free to look to the outer for the promise of Independence or to our inner for Inner-Dependence where true freedom reigns.
