“From his fullness we all received grace upon grace.” (John 1:16)
I think many of us have had an experience where we had something on our mind, whether it be a problem or we just didn’t know what our next steps were to be, and for some reason our mind shifted onto something else completely, and once our attention shifted, an answer or idea seemed to float into it regarding what was ours to do.
That is why many of us have great ah hah moments in the shower.
The key to work with these moments is to put yourself into “The fullness of God” intentionally. To put yourself into a stillness of mind where you shift away from what must be done to what could be possible and have an open and expecting mind that you will be guided by the Grace of God.
Grace can never be earned for it is a gift that is spontaneous. It is in the letting go we let God express more through us.
Grace saves us from becoming overwhelmed thinking “we have too much to do” and places is back into the divine life of God.
Grace is a power that allows us to forgive all our silly and petty complaints and opens our eyes to spiritual growth where we can see more of the underlying Truth of Oneness.
In this stillness, in this grace we are able to forgive ourselves and others so that we experience the grace of healing into wholeness.
Be still and Know
Right where you are, the Grace of God is.
