Gratitude is an attitude that all is well. It is a feeling that lifts us above any seeming negative appearances and lightens our step, unburdening us so that our heart is filled with appreciation and love for being alive in this moment. Thank you for this day; thank you for this moment; thank you life.
Saint Paul says to us in (1 Thessalonians 5:16) “Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances for this is the will of God.in Christ Jesus for you.” Do not quench the Spirit.
We want to be in touch with this idea that within us there is a light, a flame, a spark of divinity, which we call the Christ and when we are in touch with this essence, we open ourselves to an abundance of possibilities, of blessings of seeing that wherever we look, we are seeing God in expression.
There is a favorite Unity song, that goes. “Gentle Spirit flow in me. Gentle Spirit grow in me. Gentle Spirit show in me. Gentle Spirit, no me.”
This is what we mean by the “Will of God.” To understand that we, as precious human beings have been born into a world as instruments to bring light, understanding, forgiveness and gratitude
Take a moment now to still your mind, relax completely and let the awareness of Presence flow into you, grow in you, show in you so that you realize there is no you, there is only Spirit expressing.
