It Takes Courage to Live in Truth

“You will know the Truth and the Truth will make you free (John 8:31)

When you Know a Truth there is no doubt about it.   It is not a belief, nor an opinion. It’s a fact, yet even facts become fuzzy because people turn away from facts due to fear of retribution.

It takes courage to live in Truth.
What Truth am I speaking of here?

To live in Truth is not a policy, nor a political party.  That is of the world.  The Truth in which we live is the Truth of our Oneness.  Because humankind has not yet realized that there is but one presence and one power in the universe, God the good omnipotent and that s/he is one with that presence and power, a consciousness of separation has been built.

When people feel separate, ignorance reigns and there is ‘hell’ to pay.

Memorial Day is a celebration of those who put their lives on the line to ensure that we live in a country of laws.  It is through the right understanding and application of those laws that freedom is possible for all.

In World War II my dad was in the RAF and he was part of an International Team that flew a Lancaster bomber over Cologne Germany. The cultural differences between these men were not important as they had to work together to defeat a common enemy.

My dad never spoke too much about the war, other he came away with one Truth that he knew in his bones. He said :”The only difference between people is skin pigmentation, and if a man’s blood is red he is part of the human race.”

Even though my dad did not belong to any religion, that statement is a step out of what Paul called “the mind of the flesh or mortal mind (Romans 8:7) toward the Christ consciousness, a consciousness that is able to see and overcome the illusion of separation.

“All men are created equal”  (The Declaration of Independence)  is a statement of our potentiality. Sin is negative thinking; it is missing the mark of knowing “all people are created equal.”

The “Son of God” is a consciousness in which the soul and body are in harmony with Divine Mind, the Father.  It is our supreme awareness of the pattern of perfection within us, the I AM, the Christ, Image.

Dear friends, we are all One.  The only difference between a dandelion and a flower is our judgement.  The only differences between us is pigmentation and cultural beliefs.

When we awaken from those error thoughts, we cultivate the courage to live from our Christ consciousness which is awareness of our Oneness and this frees us from the world of ego where we Live the Truth we know.

Happy Memorial Day
