Jesus said to us: “Peace I leave with you, my peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives.” (John 14:27)
We may believe we will experience peace when we go on a vacation or take ourselves away from the world. It is true that vacations help to decompress us yet if we take even fifteen minutes of inner communion, this connection replenishes us.
Jesus did not take himself out from the world, he turned inward to demonstrate how to live in the world and know we are not of it; He lived from a consciousness of the Sabbath.
He said to us: “Is it not written in your law, I said, ye are Gods.”
We must come to know the only relationship is with God; and that God, as our Creator, creates in us, through us, as us. We are Part of the whole Universe and the Universe needs us to keep our light on.
