Patience

The Daily Word today is Patience.

As Human Beings we are part of the natural world.  Our culture, which is a reflection of our ego, insists that if we are to be happy, successful and prosperous, we need to always be working towards achieving, accumulating, building something.

Creativity is a gift of our Soul and we all have it, yet to ignite that creativity we must let our human nature open to the inner callings of our Soul, and that takes patience.

To dream, to daydream, to putter around the home, to write in your journal, to tinker away at something, is never a waste of time for it is igniting the creative life force within us.

Our Co-founder Myrtle Fillmore had an epiphany that all life is of God while sitting and watching a caterpillar crawl along a branch.  From this idea of Oneness the Unity movement was conceived.

Unity Principles work, if you work them.  She said that it was our first duty to bless our body and to get our thoughts right down into it, to praise its wonderful work.

Our assignment today is to take some time for self-care, for reflection, for gardening, for cooking, for puttering, writing, playing and just see what magnificent idea flow into  you while your mind is not focused on a problem but open to all the goodness of God.
