Brazilian Coffee House Concert Rescheduled

Unity of Fort Pierce has rescheduled our Brazilian Coffee House Concert, originally set for Wednesday, September 13, to Wednesday, November 1.

The concert will feature Jazz Guitarist, Composer and Vocalist Phill Fest. Phill is a natural talent, making his performances a fun and exciting experience. Phill grew up in a musical family. His father is a recording artist and his mother a composer and music instructor. Phill was exposed to Brazilian and American Jazz right from the start. “I remember hangin’ with Sergio Mendez backstage many times as a kid.” His father, Manfredo Fest, was the Keyboardist and Music Director for Bossa Rio, the opening act for Brasil ’66 for three years.

Phill Fest received “Best Jazz Artist” at the Bay Area Music Awards (B.A.M.A.)

Also appearing with Phill is singer Silvia Brasil and pianist Robert Steinberg.

For tickets, call 772-461-2272. $15 in advance; $20 at the door. Refreshments available.
