Paths of Awakening
“Ask and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock and it will be opened for you.” (Matthew 7:7)
In Unity we say there are many paths to God. Perhaps a better way to say this is : there are many paths to God Realization.
When I was in Arizona, visitors went to experience the various Vortexes in the area. There is Cathedral Rock, with its Feminine/inward energy. Bell Rock for clarity; Boynton Canyon , creativity and Airport Mesa, Masculine active upflow energy.
However not everyone has heard about these vortexes. My friend and I asked a couple if we were on the correct path to experience one of the vortexes and they had no idea what we were speaking about.
Sedona was beautiful but you don’t need to go there to tap into the energies that surround all of us always.
We are walking vortexes.
Awakening to these energies is one thing, to experience the swirling energy helps us to slow down, to listen to observe, to feel the underlying essence that is beneath all life. But then many people go back into their head and live once again from concepts. What would it be like to really walk this path of awakening to the subtle energies of God, the Vortex of Love?
In order to feel the energies around you now takes only a tiny shift. Rather than looking outward at the world of things and tasks, focus your attention inward for this moment and experience the subtle breath as it flows through your body. Be still and deepen your inner gaze. Breathe deeply and release the restlessness. Settle into the calm under the surface turmoil
Summer Daze invites us to enter our inner vortex and experience this energy of love. Other paths are Listening lowly. Listen to the sounds of nature; listen to a piece of music that moves you; listen to the surround sound of the world. When we are listening, our mind quiets;
Another path is Allowing. Allow yourself to be still a moment, to wait, to observe, to feel. Anytime we listen and observe inwardly, we go a little deeper into realizing, as Joel Goldsmith says, “God is closer than your breath.”
Be still and enter into the electromagnetic Vortexes within you now. Healing is there; Wholeness is there: The Truth of your Original Goodness is there. Your Spiritual Sacredness awaits your return.
