ThanksLiving

Meister Eckhart suggests to us that “if  one had to choose only one prayer, it would be “thank you.”  .

Gratitude/Thanksgiving is the best treatment we could give ourselves for the health of our body/mind.  Gratitude shifts our perspective up out of the world and into the realm of Spirit where all the good we could possible imagine awaits our direction.

Our way-shower, Jesus the Christ demonstrated the importance of being thankful and filled with gratitude as he always gave thanks before any of his actions. Jesus lived a life of prayer and praise, which is why he drew all he needed and more to him.  He gave thanks before raising Lazarus;  He gave thanks at the Last Supper.  He gave thanks for the joy of living and the blessings that were around him.

As co-creative Beings, we live in a Universe that gives us what we hold in mind. The Law of Mind action is always at work in our lives.  Gratitude and Thanksgiving makes us generous.  We choose how we show up in the world.  Will our focus be on being grateful and generous, which multiplies the harvest of good,  or are our eyes closed to this amazing grace while wrapped in a shroud of complains?.

Let us affirm:

“I gratefully accept the abundance of health and happiness the Universe offers me every day.”

 Blessings, Rev Janice
