The Comforter

The only way we can ever feel comforted is by repenting or turning inwards so we can release any hurt , fear or anxiety,  and listen for the guidance of the still small voice.  This is not an easy thing to do because the ego insists on being right.

I recall one time when I asked my dad whether he wanted to be at peace or be right and he responded.  “That doesn’t make any sense.”  He was right because you cannot think yourself into the comfort of God .I It takes total surrender into Being. Total surrender to the ‘I Am.”

As we begin the Lenten Season, realize that when our body is hurt, our beautiful animal body needs to rest, for it is the nature of nature to heal.    When the psyche is agitated,  the mind needs to enter into the stillness and allow the healing grace of God to clear it of any attachment.

To be human is to experience suffering,  but we don’t need the unnecessary suffering.   Our way-shower, Jesus said “In the world there are trials and tribulations, but I have overcome the world.”  (John 16:33)

Dear Ones, we are Overcomers.  Whenever you feel hurt or anxious, realize your mind has been caught in the trappings of appearances. Notice this struggle and let ourselves Be.  Calli on the power of love to clear our monkey mind of distractions and return home to center. .  .

Heaven and Earth will pass away,  but my words will not pass away. (Matthew 24:35)  In other words, use Unity tools to increase your immune system, in order to lift our eyes above the conditions or circumstances and retreat to the inner Church of Christ, the Universal “I Am.”

There you will find  the Comforter.

Love and Blessings,
Rev Janice
