The Fields Are Ripe for Harvest

We live amidst abundance, beauty and plenty.  When we develop our inner eyesight, our insight, we are able to see that we are surrounded and infilled with Presence.  As the passage in John 4:34 expresses, if we rejoice in the reaping and sowing, we are doubly blessed for the Universe is a continuous flow of input and outflow.   “One sows, and another reaps.”

When our true desire is to do the “will of our God” we cannot out give God. We always receive far more than we give.  To let go of our egoic urgency and be still for a moment, a luminous, comforting sense of peace arises that guides our activities, if we are awake to receive this guidance, we will always have more than we need.

This Sunday our talk is how to stay centered in God, amidst the many interruptions in life.  We learn to let go of our human need to control everything and make ourselves available for Divine interruptions so we can see them for what they are:  Eruptions of Spirit in our lives, ready for us to focus and use our energies for good, for God.

Blessings, Rev Janice
